The Annual 5K Memorial Walk

In 2018, Nina, Dina, Tiffany and a group of nurses who cared for Donel held the first annual memorial walk to raise awareness for the need for affordable lodging in the Upper Valley specifically for cancer patients. Cancer patients often endure weeks, months, to years of treatment that requires the burden of travelling long distances at all hours of the day and night. 

The first memorial walk took place in June of 2018. Over 350 people arrived at the pavilion of Carter Community Building Association (CCBA) in Lebanon, NH - brought together by love and community. The 5K walk raised over $8,000. 

The second memorial walk took place in 2019 and was then postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Stay tuned for our next community event in the Upper Valley!
